Precious moments

I had a long overdue lunch session with my friends, Yernie & Jon (hehe cuties) and Jon's little sister, Kayla joined us as well! Kayla was pretty much the highlight of my day... Juuuuuust kidding, I had a really good time with all 3 of them :)

Little kids bring so much joy to me. Just the other day when I was at the dentist, there were 3 young kids waiting for their turn. And let me tell you something, young kids will NEVER EVER sit still. The middle child kept on hitting his older sister whereas the youngest child just witnessed the whole chaos situation without saying a single word. I know it's kind of creepy for me to say this, but it was actually a beautiful sight for me to watch.

Also, I was having lunch alone the other day at a local coffee shop and a mother & her child who was around the age of 11 came and joined me on my table. I instantly recalled my primary school days where my mom and I would have lunch together after school at this very same coffee shop. It's been 7 years since I've left my primary school and oh boy... Time passes too quickly.

All I can advise any of you young readers out there (I'm not trying to say I'm old ha ha) is to appreciate all these little moments you have right now. They're so precious and you wouldn't want to lose them in the future.

People of Kuala Lumpur

I've always loved street photography and it actually felt very nice to be able to take some photos of strangers yesterday. Here are some snippets from yesterday's mini tour around the streets of KL because we decided to show my cousin from Australia around. To be honest, I'm not a 100 percent satisfied with these photos... Still need to play around with my camera's settings.

Notice how his jacket says "Happy Baby"?

Favourite shot of the day!

BFF turns Nineteen

My best friend turns nineteen tomorrow. Well, it's about time!! The youngest of us three is finally turning a year old and we had to carry on with the tradition of celebrating one another's birthday each year. Nicole has been there for me through thick and thin and it was only right to treat her to lunch as she's a true gem. She holds a very special place in my heart and I'm truly grateful for her presence in my life. We've never argued because we pretty much agree on practically everything. Thank you for all the good honest conversations we've had and I'm looking forward to spend countless decades with you :) Still pretty amazed at the fact that we haven't killed each other (haha just kidding)

Catch Up's

Had a nice evening chatting and also catching up with a good friend of mine, Samuel, whom I recently just met in the beginning of 2016. Sam has a strong interest in both photography & film-making and the combination of these two interests keeps him going every single day. He can go on and on about these interests and that's only because he loves what he's doing. He has his own perspective as to why he decided to go into this line and I truly admire his reasons for doing so. For instance, the reason why he decided to start this series called "Raw Box" on his YouTube channel was solely because he wanted to discover unseen talents of Malaysia and capture them on film. The one thing that I've managed to pick up from when I followed him to one of his shoots was that he really keeps to his series title- "Raw Box". He only had two takes of this girl he filmed of and the reason for doing so was because he wanted it to be as raw as possible and not edited.

Check out his photos on his Flickr and also his Youtube channel. I promise you won't be disappointed!

After a long hectic second semester of University, I can finally say that I have officially completed my first year! *throws confetti*

It has been close to nine months of heavy workload which includes assignments, internal tests, external tests, extra curricular activities and my-oh-my, has it been terribly stressful! But I enjoy being busy with work, it keeps me hustling instead of being a lazy sack of potatoes. I just got back from an internship interview today and I got the job!! *throws confetti for the second time* Praise God indeed! I am beyond excited to start this new chapter of life and gain new experiences from the working environment. I plan to jot down something new that I learn every single day (if that's possible) and compile it here!

In the meantime, here are some skies for you to indulge yourself in. If you've been a frequent reader, you would know my obsession with skies... They. Make. Me. So. Happy.

Hoping that all you readers are doing good xx
